THE PURPOSE OF THIS PRODUCT UPGRADE SERVICE BULLETIN IS TO INFORM ALL REV REV RECREATION GROUP INC. DEALERS OF THE NEED TO INSPECT, AND IF NECESSARY, CORRECT THE WIRING ATTACHED TO THE BATTERY ISOLATION MANAGER TO ALLOW RECHARGING OF THE AUXILIARY BATTERIES VIA THE CHASSIS ALTERNATOR. IF A GREEN WIRE (CIRCUIT 529) WAS INSTALLED AT THE GEN TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY ISOLATION MANAGER, THE AUXILIARY AND MAIN BATTERY BANKS WILL BE ISOLATED WHILE THE CHASSIS IGNITION IS TURNED ON; THIS WILL PREVENT THE ALTERNATOR FROM RECHARGING THE AUXILIARY BATTERIES. DISCONNECTING THE GREEN WIRE FROM THE GEN TERMINAL WILL ENABLE THE CHASSIS ALTERNATOR TO CHARGE THE AUXILIARY BATTERIES. THE AFFECTED (CLASS A AND CLASS C GAS) VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 8, 2015 AND JULY 29, 2016 AND WERE SHIPPED TO DEALERS BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 8, 2015 AND JULY 29, 2016.
What this bulletin may mean before buying
Treat this as service research, not a verdict on one car. Before you buy, compare this communication with official recall campaigns, model-level owner complaint patterns, and the exact vehicle’s VIN-decoded specifications. A bulletin can help you ask a seller or dealer sharper questions about software updates, known repairs, warranty extensions and service history.
