Carchieve compiles vehicle identification, specification, safety-recall, owner-complaint and federal crash-test records from authoritative U.S. databases and presents them as a report and PDF. Reports are informational and are sold on a per-report basis.
Carchieve does not guarantee the mechanical condition, accident history, ownership or title status of any vehicle. Public records may be incomplete or delayed. Always pair a report with an independent inspection by a qualified mechanic before purchasing.
Reports are purchased individually or in bundles. Bundle credits are added to your account and may be redeemed against any VIN. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card details.
You agree not to resell, scrape, or use reports to harass any individual, and to use the service in compliance with applicable law, including the Driver's Privacy Protection Act.
Carchieve is an independent service and is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer or government agency.
