The check engine indicator light in the instrument cluster may be illuminated with one of the following fault codes: P261029, P02FF85, or P02FF02 stored in the engine control unit (N3/10). The time in instrument cluster is implausible due to an internal reset. If no other complaints exist then check for and perform any available software updates for the following control units: - Motor electronics (N3/10) - Powertrain control unit (N127) - Instrument cluster (A1) If all three control units have the latest software installed and the complaint continues to occur then proceed with replacement of the instrument cluster (A1) Should the complaint re-occur after the instrument cluster has been replaced then open a PTSS case with the following information: - Control units logs for the ME, PTCU, and IC - Initial quick test
