Reviewed June 2026 from NHTSA manufacturer communication and service bulletin records. Carchieve is independent and not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer or government agency.
Some 2021 Edge/Nautilus customers may receive multiple warning messages in the FordPass app and the vehicle may exhibit multiple warning indicators in the IPC, power liftgate inoperative, power windows inoperative, and/or climate control inoperative. The vehicle may also set multiple DTCs related to MS1, HS1, HS3 network concerns including B00D5:01 and B1202:01 setting in the restraints control module (RCM) and various other modules. This may be due to a software concern in the gateway module (GWM). To correct the condition, use the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) to reprogram the GWM to the latest software level. For claiming, use casual part 14G490 and the applicable labor operations of Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
What this bulletin may mean before buying
Treat this as service research, not a verdict on one car. Before you buy, compare this communication with official recall campaigns, model-level owner complaint patterns, and the exact vehicle’s VIN-decoded specifications.
