Some 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 400W alternating current (AC) power outlet system may experience the AC power outlet system being inoperative and DTC B1330:9A stored in the BCM. This may be due to a connection and/or outlet issue at any of the 3 AC power outlets. If this concern is present, closely inspect C4628 at the pickup bed AC outlet for possible connection and/or contamination issues and repair as necessary. If there are no connection or contamination issues present at C4628, or a repair has been made AC power outlet system, you must download and run the Reset the Battery Monitoring Sensor Learned Values app (routine 203A) in the FDRS to relearn the direct current/alternating current converter module A (DCACA) outlet configuration and retest. If the B1330:9A persists, continue with normal diagnostics in the Workshop Manual, Section 414-05.
What this bulletin may mean before buying
Treat this as service research, not a verdict on one car. Before you buy, compare this communication with official recall campaigns, model-level owner complaint patterns, and the exact vehicle’s VIN-decoded specifications. A bulletin can help you ask a seller or dealer sharper questions about software updates, known repairs, warranty extensions and service history.
