In response to requests from the field and in an effort to reduce repair costs of Aisin A465 6-speed transmission, the following On-Vehicle procedures have been approved for service at the dealer level. The following procedures have been approved for repair. Refer to the Automatic Transmission sub-section Internal Harness (Wire to Solenoid) section in the appropriate Service Manual for diagnostic and service procedures. In order to improve the quality of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and service replacement parts, Isuzu now requests dealers to capture TCM Freeze Frame Data for all Aisin A465 6-speed transmission component parts replaced under warranty. The primary purpose of the TCM Freeze Frame Data is to obtain faster and more accurate quality information on all Aisin A465 6-speed transmission replaced components. The collected information will be used to improve the reliability of OEM and service replacement transmission components.
