LiveWire S2 models have the ability to update all modules except the Instrument Module (IM) using the cellular network. When a software update is made available over the air, the vehicle will prompt the user to begin the install. If an update prompt comes up while the vehicle is in the dealership's possession, accept all updates. NOTE: DO NOT simultaneously have a Digital Technician II (DT II) connection established and perform a FOTA update. This can delay any Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) updates that come up while connecting to DT II. Also, if a FOTA update has been accepted and is currently running, DO NOT connect a DT II.
