Complaint "Active Distance Assist currently unavailable" and "Active Brake Assist functions currently limited" are shown on the instrument cluster during startup or while driving AND stored DTC in quick test U0416FE - "Implausible data were received from control unit Traction system" in A108/1 (Distronic). Cluster messages will remain and mentioned system functionality is limited until key is cycled. Cause Under investigation. Symptom may occur with one or a combination of the following: 1. Low battery health 2. Battery state of charge 3. Repeated short drive cycles. Cluster messages will resolve after a vehicle key cycle. Remedy TIPS case not necessary. At this time the U0416FE DTC in combination with the instrument cluster lights (Active Brake Assist/Active Distance Assist) is being analyzed. The cluster messages will resolve with a key cycle.
