This article supersedes TSB 25-2045 to update the production fix date and add model years. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above equipped with a console gear shift module (GSM) may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: * Clicking sound coming from shifter after it is placed and kept in reverse, neutral or drive position (2024 only) * Shifter will not shift out of park/into park * Shifter will not shift out of gear * Shifter will not stow/unstow * Shifter will move past the park position * Loose shifter lever arm at pivot * Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator * DTC P0929:77, P0929:00, P0929:07 and/or P0929:9A This may be due to a faulty GSM and/or connector C211 pin push out on circuit CCB61 or an open on circuit CCB61, between the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module and the body control module (BCM). Note: If the gear shifter lever will not shift into park, the transmission will automatically shift into park when the return to park function is triggered.
