NHTSA Service Bulletin 11023293: 2025 Lincoln Navigator
Official manufacturer communication context for 2025 Lincoln Navigator, with affected products, buyer checks and links into Carchieve recall, problem and VIN research.
Reviewed June 2026 from NHTSA manufacturer communication and service bulletin records. Carchieve is independent and not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer or government agency.
Some 2025 Navigator vehicles equipped with second row power seats (minor feature code BYBAL) may exhibit a symptom where the second row seat control switch does not move the seat forward or backward. There may also be diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B167F:11 stored in the rear LH power seat control module (SCMK) and/or the rear RH seat control module (SCML). To confirm a vehicle is built with minor feature code BYBAL, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to the configuration of the SCMK and/or SCML modules. To resolve this condition, download and run the configuration applications "SCMK - Rear LH Power Seat Control Module SCMK Configuration" and the "SCML - Rear RH Power Seat Control Module SCML Configuration" using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 14F042 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
What this bulletin may mean before buying
Treat this as service research, not a verdict on one car. Before you buy, compare this communication with official recall campaigns, model-level owner complaint patterns, and the exact vehicle’s VIN-decoded specifications. A bulletin can help you ask a seller or dealer sharper questions about software updates, known repairs, warranty extensions and service history.
