*****Dealer Announcement***** To ensure continued customer satisfaction and confidence, Nissan is conducting a Dealer Quality Action on certain model year 2026 Nissan LEAF vehicles identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. On affected vehicles, Remote Rear Defrost, Front Wiper Deicer, and Heated Door Mirrors may be unavailable via the smartphone app when the Defrost and Deicer systems are active. This condition may be caused by an incorrect installation position of the shorting terminal within the fuse block. Nissan dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and, if necessary, correct the shorting terminal installation to restore full remote functionality. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History Open Campaigns I.D. P5A27 New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action prior to sale. 3. The service department should submit the applicable claim using the claims coding provided in the attached procedure for the action performed to close the campaign in Service Comm and release the vehicle.
