NHTSA Service Bulletin 11025570: 2022-2025 Volvo S60mhev
Official manufacturer communication context for 2022-2025 Volvo S60mhev, with affected products, buyer checks and links into Carchieve recall, problem and VIN research.
Reviewed June 2026 from NHTSA manufacturer communication and service bulletin records. Carchieve is independent and not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer or government agency.
This is a Technical Journal: Coolant Pump Dry Coolant Mix Residue. If the coolant pump has an active leak, a photo must be taken prior to replacement (see example as in attached picture TJ_36923_3). The photo showing the active water pump leak on the vehicle must be saved for the TMA photo return process and provided when requested. Sealing improvements have been made to PNs 32382367, 32441161 and 32382368, but the part numbers are unchanged. To assist with identification of improved parts, a marking has been added to the parts: an "X," as shown in the attached document TJ_36923_1.pdf. If you receive a replacement pump that does not have the "X" marking, please return it and order a replacement
What this bulletin may mean before buying
Treat this as service research, not a verdict on one car. Before you buy, compare this communication with official recall campaigns, model-level owner complaint patterns, and the exact vehicle’s VIN-decoded specifications. A bulletin can help you ask a seller or dealer sharper questions about software updates, known repairs, warranty extensions and service history.
