NOTE: This takes place when the vehicle in on standstill, the driver stays in the car for more than 10 minutes and if the driver presses the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) button. The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) module wakes up in silent mode and if another wake up request occurs (i.e. pedal press, door, ajar etc.) during this time the module locks up in no communication mode and other modules sets DTC against ESC module. ESC won't be operational and vehicle won't be able to shift out of park. Antilock Brake System (ABS) light is on in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). This bulletin involves reprogramming the ABS module with the latest available software.
