Complaint The seat may no longer be adjustable using the electric seat adjustment switch on the door module. No related error is stored in the quick test. Cause Under certain conditions, the electric seat adjustment switch may remain in sleep mode. It is then not possible to adjust the seat using this switch. This is a software error. Remedy To restore functionality, perform the following steps: 1. Remove the door trim from the affected door. 2. Unplug and reconnect the plug of the electric seat adjustment switch (No. 2 in the picture in work instruction AR91.29-P-2522WT) to perform a reset of the switch. Note: The switch does not need to be removed for this. 3. To prevent this problem from recurring, the current software version A2239029930 should be installed on the switch module Seat Adjustment Switch Group . Example: S22 - Select S22 Seat Adjustment Switch Group, front left (SSE-VL) Adaptations Control unit update Update control unit software. If the vehicle already has SW version A2239029930, there is another cause. Please open a TIPS case to the Body/Chassis/Entertainment inbox if the issue persists with the new software installed.
