Electrical fault in the rear airbag/window airbag that may cause a connection between the airbag pins or to the vehicle mass Cause Contact problems that create a short circuit between the pins or to the vehicle ground Remedy Connect and disconnect the affected airbag five times Then the squib must be carefully blown out with dry compressed air. Caution: There must be no mechanical contact! If fault is not rectified: Please measure the internal resistance as described in SI91.00-P-0005A. If the resistor of the airbag is OK, please replace the airbag plug. If the resistance of the airbag is not OK, please replace the airbag. Important: The electrical fault does not affect the functionality of the airbag in the event of an accident. The airbag is functioning as intended.
