KAWASAKI MOTORS CORP., USA HAS DETERMINED THAT A DEFECT WHICH RELATES TO MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY EXISTS IN 1993 AND 1994 MODEL ZX600-E1 AND ZX600-E2 NINJA ZX-6 MOTORCYCLES. THE WELDING ON THE SWINGARM MAY BE FAULTY. IF THE REAR WHEEL WERE SUBJECTED TO A HARSH IMPACT, SUCH AS HITTING A POT HOLE AT HIGHWAY SPEED, THE WELDED ARE MAY BREAK AND ALLOW ONE OR BOTH OF THE SWINGARM BEAMS TO SEPARATE FROM THE MAIN CASTING.
