ISUZU 6.0L N-GAS VEHICLES HAVE BEEN FACTORY FITTED WITH ONE OF TWO DIFFERENT VACUUM PUMPS. EARLIER N-GAS VEHICLES HAD VACUUM PUMPS WITH A SHORTER INPUT SHAFT THAT UTILIZED AFLAT PULLEY (SEE FIGURE 1.) A NEWER DESIGN OF VACUUM PUMP WITH A LONGER SHAFT BEGAN TO BE FACTORY FITTED ON THE 2020MY ISUZU 6.0L N-GAS. (SEE FIGURE 2.) THE LONGER SHAFT ON THIS PUMP REQURIES AN OFFSET PULLEY TO PROVIDE THE PROPER CLEARANCE. THE NEWER PUMP MAY BE FITTED TO 2008-2020MY N-GAS VEHICLES IF USED WITH THE CORRESPONDING PULLEY. THE CORRECT PUMP AND PULLEY COMBINATIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN KIT FORM BASED ON MODEL YEAR AS HSOWN BELOW IN THE CHART BELOW IN PARTS INFORMATION. THE INTRODUCTION OF THESE TWO NEW KITS THAT CONSIST OF A VACUUM PUMP AND CORRECT PULLEY WILL SIMPLIFY PARTS SELECTION. THE VACUUM PUMPS (P/N 8972410351 AND 8975481860) WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPLIED INDIVIDUALLY AND WILL BE SERVICED BY THE KITS DETAILED IN THIS BULLETIN. THE PULLEYS WILL CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY. THE PUMP AND PULLEY ARE NOT PREASSEMBLED. UTILIZE THE WSM PROCEDURE TO PROPERLY INSTALL THE PULLEY ONTO THE PUMP.
